The True 500 series offers options of programmable and non-programmable treadmills as well as the HRC model, and ups the size of the deck to 20 x 54 inches with standard handrails, an option of the 450. Warranties on True tread mills are lifetime on the frame, 5-years on all parts, and 1-year on labor.

Although TreadmillDoctor attributes True's quiet and comfortable operation a result of their "magnificent belt and deck combination which is simply the best in the treadmill market", they also advise that the brand becomes a true value only when discounted, given its upscale pricing and strong marketing stance.
