Triad Treadmills - The New Guy On The Block
Triad treadmills are produced by Keys Fitness as part of their Ironman brand which is offered in either the T Series, a newer more modern design, or the M Series, Keys workhorse models.
The Triad treadmill, however, is made exclusively for Costco, the discount retail giant, thus the unique model name.
Keys Fitness Products LP, a relatively young Texas firm specializing in fitness equipment, prides itself on continuing its production in the USA.
Keys also produces quality treadmills under the Alliance, Healthrider, Discovery, Keys, and Encore brand names and earns Best Buy recognition for some models by those who review fitness and exercise equipment.
If Your Tank Is Running On M-T
The Triad model shares the design of the Ironman T Series but the legacy of the substantial M Series is evident in its component engineering.
The Triad's weight capacity is that of the M5, a Best Buy nominee, while its motor--3.0CHP, maximum speed--10MPH, Touch Button controls, remote controls, heart rate monitoring and control, and number of preset, customized, and heart rate programs are all like the M6.
Unlike the rest of the M Series treadmills which, designed for sports training and intense exercise, incline to 12%, the Triad inclines to only 10%.
The Triad running surface actually exceeds that of the M6 in length at 60", but unlike the M6, which has a conventional frame, the Ironman Triad is, like the T Series treadmills, a fold-away design.
Ironman treadmill models, including the Triad, carry a warranty that covers for lifetime on the frame, 10-years on the motor, two-years on parts and one-year on labor, and the Ironman Triad sells for about $1400 at Costco, which does occasionally discount its price.
Triad can be purchased online at Costco, while other Keys treadmill products can be found at both retailers and online suppliers.
