The Proform 775 is equipped with a 1.75CHP motor, an acceptable power unit to carry a maximum user weight of 275 lbs and for light running and more intense fitness training by users of moderate weight.

The running surface on the 775 is 19"x55", good dimensions for the size of people who should be using this machine and wide enough for those in weight control programs who have a wider stance.

The 775 has power incline to 10% and the deck is cushioned.

It's programmable and the readouts show calories burned, distance traveled, fat calories burned, pulse, speed, and time elapsed.

Reviewers note its elegant design and impressive console. A magazine rack and bottle holder are standard, and, as with most Proform models, it folds away for easier storage.

The Proform 775 sells online and at discount sports stores for as little as $600.

Consider the warranty, though - a few years on the motor but 90 days on parts and labor.
