Reebok 3500 Treadmills - They Don't Just Make Sneakers
Reebok 3500 treadmills, including the rx 3500, are smart looking fitness machines that have plenty of features.
Reebok is one of several subsidiaries of Icon Health and Fitness, largest producer of sports fitness equipment, including Proform, Nordic Track, Gold's Gym, HealthRider, and Weslo.
Popular models in the Reebok lineup are the 3500, v4500, v2500, and the tr5, sold mostly in Europe.
Lots Of Features
The TR5 Prorun treadmill has an elegant design with a 5.0HP motor--that would be its peak power, not its continuous power rating.
Its certainly rated for running and runners can go up to 10MPH at a maximum incline of 12%.
Its deck is 20x60" and folds up using a power fold system.
Twelve programs are included, three of them user programs, and the tr5 has built in wireless heart rate reception with a chest belt.
The Reebok 3500 also has a 20x60" running surface, and its deck has adjustable cushioning and inclines to 10%.
Maximum user weight on the Reebok 3500 is 300 lbs.
The 3500 does not have wireless heart rate monitoring but does have heart rate monitoring through pulse grips, and it has 10 workout options including two that are pulse-driven.
Icon's usual amenities are apparent: a workout fan, iFitĀ®, an interactive workout technology, and the SpaceSaverĀ® Fold Away design.
The 3500 sells for $1300 normally, but is often marked down to less than $1000.
Both the tr5 and the 3500 are suitable for sports training, weight control programs, and general health and fitness workouts.
Warranties on Reebok treadmills are much like those on other Icon products--a few years on the motor but only 90 days on parts and labor, so an extended warranty is a must.
