The Proform T35 Treadmill - Don't Look Back

The Proform t35 treadmill is yet another of the models made for Sears by Proform, a subsidiary of Icon Health and Fitness, the largest manufacturer of fitness equipment.

Proform t35 treadmills, however, are no longer carried by Sears, so you're only likely to see Proform t35 treadmills as used models, and since they were produced several years ago, they're likely to be very used.

All Proform models, whether made for large discount retailers like Sears, sold at other retail outlets, or purchased from online suppliers or at the Proform site itself, are made for home use.

Most sell for around $1000, give-or-take a couple hundred, though the 5-Star series, top-of-the-line, goes up to about $1900.

If You're Going Running, Catch Up

A fairly simple model of medium size and weight capacity, the Proform t35 is today replaced at Sears by models like the xp 542, which features a 2.75HP for speeds of up to 10 MPH and a running surface of 18x55", with powered incline and cushioned by Proform's adjustable Pro Shox™ system.

Speed, distance, calories, and time are displayed, and workouts include both preset and optional iFit® interactive workouts designed by professional trainers.

A bottle holder and cooling fan are standard, as is the fold-away design.

The Proform 542e, much the same as the 542s, includes a Carb Counter for those following a low-carb diet.

Proform suffers from its image of placing extra features ahead of quality in its machines, but more importantly, from a warranty that is too weak to support that approach.

Most Proform models are warranted for a few years on the motor but only 90 days on parts and labor.

Sears backs that up, though, with extended service plans and their own service.
