Proform 775 Treadmill - In Good Company
The Proform 775 Treadmill joins other Proform models like the Proform 540 and 840 in providing a spacious 19x55" running surface.
Proform 775 treadmills share many of the features of those other Proform models, like grip pulse sensors, but there are differences in performance and features, as well.
The Proform 775 sells online at discount sports stores for as little as $600.
Proform is one of the brands marketed by Icon Health and Fitness, the largest producer of exercise equipment for sports training and general health.
Getting It Up And Running
The Proform 775 or 775i are among Proform's many models that suit people of medium build who train fairly intensely, but would probably be better for those who are larger and following weight loss programs.
The 775 has a fairly large running or walking surface but has only a 1.75CHP motor, not much for a machine with a maximum user weight of 275 lbs, but certainly enough to accommodate a wide stance and power-walking or fast-walking weight loss regimens.
The same could be said for the 540 and 840 which are rated for maximum weights of 300 lbs but are equipped with smaller motors.
The 775 has power incline to 10% and the deck is cushioned.
It's programmable and the readouts show calories burned, distance traveled, fat calories burned, pulse, speed, and time elapsed.
Reviewers note its elegant design and impressive console.
A magazine rack and bottle holder are standard, and, as with most Proform models, it folds away for easier storage.
