Keys Fitness treadmills are produced by Keys Fitness Products L.P.,  which offers a full range of models in the Alliance, Discovery, Encore, HealthTrainer and Ironman product lines.

A hallmark of a Keys fitness treadmill is that as you survey its features, whether of the  economy class, as in the case of the Keys HealthTrainer 502 or Encore 1500, for example, or in the high-end models, like the Ironman M6, you will see quality improving as features increase, an approach not shared by all its competitors.

A relative newcomer in the industry based in Garland, Texas, Keys Fitness prides itself on assembling its products in the USA, even if it does use some overseas parts.

One For Every Challenge

The Keys EC1500 is equipped with a 2.5CHP, an 18x51" running surface, and a cushioned deck with weight capacity of 250 pounds. It has power incline to 12% with a speed range up to 10MPH.

This is a machine best for light fitness or weight loss, not running or sports training.

Feedback is displayed in five LED's and three preset fitness programs and six custom workouts are featured but only for one user.

While quality and reliability may be a concern in this price level, the warranty is 10 years on the motor, two years on parts, and one year on labor.

A comparable model, the Keys Health Trainer 502 (502t), offers remote control hand grips to monitor heart rate at a similar price and with the same warranty, and both models are fold-away designs.

Keys Fitness Discovery series offers many of these same features on a stronger frame and deck, and the Ironman brand features high-end construction, engineering and design like the 20x58" running surface,  3.0CHP motor, heart rate control, maximum user weight of 375 lbs., and custom workouts found on the Ironman M6.

Whether for economical but productive fitness programs or high-intensity training, Keys Fitness offers a competitive treadmill backed by a good warranty.
