Horizon T20 Treadmill - Older Model At A Fresh New Price

The Horizon t20 treadmill was built by Horizon Fitness, a division of Johnson Health Tech, Inc., in the 2004 model year.

The Horizon treadmill series is one of two for Horizon Fitness, the other being its upper echelon models called Elite.

Both are considered fine machines, but while the Elite Series is designed for intense training and running, the Horizon Series, including the Horizon t20 treadmills, are more suitable for general fitness and health training and weight control programs.

Johnson Health has moved Horizon's production overseas, so critics have been quick to review Horizon's machines with a wary eye since most manufacturers who have made that move have suffered from poorer quality and less reliable parts.

The T20 is equipped with a 1.75CHP motor for speeds up to 10MPH.

It has a 20x55" cushioned deck with powered incline to 10% and a weight capacity of 275 lbs. Speed, distance, time, calories burned, and heart rate monitored through a pulse grip are all displayed.

The T20 is a fairly substantial treadmil machine in both size and weight, it weighs about 260 lbs, but it incorporates a fold-up system and makes the job easier with hydraulic assist.

The warranty on the Horizon T20 is lifetime on the frame, 1 year on parts and labor and 10 years on the motor.

The T20 normally sells for about $1200 but is commonly marked down since it is last year's model.

Current models in the Horizon product line are the T51, the T52, a model comparable to the T20 but considerably improved, the T53, and the T54HR.

Horizon warranties are limited to from 7 to 15 years on the motor, depending on the model, lifetime on the frame, and 1 year on parts and labor.
