Discount Life Fitness Treadmill -- Life Is Good

Discount Life Fitness treadmill models are well worth considering, and for reasons you might not expect.

First, one reason you might expect: they're made well.

Of the eight current models, two, the T9i and T9e - both rated Best Buys, are home versions of Life Fitness commercial training equipment, and the other models fall in line.

Second, considerable savings can be realized when purchasing remanufactured models, and most of those are former club models featuring advanced equipment, high weight capacity, and versatility for more than one user.

Third, Life Fitness is considered overpriced by many who rate treadmills, so discount Life Fitness treadmills would be right in line with lesser equipment sold new.

The Search Is On

Older Life Fitness equipment is not always easy to find, but it is sold online by suppliers who carry remanufactured equipment like the Life Fitness 2800, 5500, 8500, and the Life Fitness Sport.

The 8500, which originally sold for around $4300 and can be found refurbished for around $1300,

features a 2.5HP DC motor for speeds up to 10 MPH.

The running deck is 18x58" with Flex Deck™ shock absorption (30% reduction in impact to the knees, hips, and back) and incline up to 15%, and it incorporates an automatic waxing system.

It includes six programs, including the Fat Burn program that maintains your heart rate at its most effective level for burning off calories. The display provides readouts for speed, time, distance, incline, calories, watts, and METS.

Commercial models, like the Life Fitness Lifestride 9500HR, are also sold remanufactured online for great savings.

They were top of the line in sports training, and feature a 62" deck with Flex Deck™ along with heart rate monitoring using pulse grips.

They're available from online suppliers for about $2500.

Warranties for discounted new models vary by model from 15 years to Lifetime on the motor, 3 to 10 years on electrical and mechanical part, and one year on labor.

All models are Lifetime on frame and Lifespring™ shock absorbers.

Warranties on remanufactured models depend largely on the supplier but commonly cover the equipment for six months.
